Composed and Written on the MandoUke by Donna & Fred Miller for our loving friends Sigo and Hilu Song for Pummel 8 1/2 tons of Pummel, he's a heavy load 8 1/2 tons of Pummel, Rollin down the road Pummel likes his diesel, Sigo takes the wheel Hilu finds there way around, its a family feel Pummel arrives in Halifax, on a big old ship Sigo & Hilu take to the air, as quick as a whip They're coming out of Germany, to see the world Travel around, hear the sounds, may be find a pearl Drivin the Trans Canada, to good old Montreal They head on down the St Laurence seaway, to niagara falls Its a wonderful world before them, but its getting kind a cold So they turn south, Pummel opens his mouth and swallows another big load Bridge G-Am-D-G Of Diesel, pure diesel, more diesel for the road Cause hes 8 1/2 tons of Pummel Rollin down the road, drinkin diesel All the way They hammer down the blue ridge Parkway of the USA Headin for Louisianna, and the Mississippi Theres some like minds up in Canada, wheelin it there way They meet on the gulf, they open their mouths And they celebrate Bridge G-Am-D-G With vino, vino tinto, sundowners on the Beach He's 8 1/2 tons of Pummel Siting in the wait, for Diesel And a brand new day But itchy feet pull them west, To California Up the coast back to Canada, And Alaska Well its gettin cold away up north, Again Pummel opens his mouth He takes on the Rocky,s on his way,To the Sunny South Bridge G-Am-D-G Of Baja, Sunny Baja, good old Baja Mexico Well he's 8 1/2 tons of Pummel And he's glad to be warm again The oil flows around his rings.
